This policy explains what personal data PLIDA Prep processes when you use plidaprep.com, why, with which providers, and what rights you have.

For any privacy request, write to support@plidaprep.com.
Visiting the site
Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc. (USA), processes technical data from each request (IP address, browser, page, date and time) to deliver and protect the site. We derive your country from the IP address to show the right currency and price; we do not store it. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Tests and practice
Your answers, scores and the texts you write in Scrivere stay in your browser (localStorage) and are not sent to us.
Your account
Sign-in and accounts are provided by Clerk, Inc. (USA). We process your email address, your name if you give it, and session data to run your account and unlock what you bought. If you buy without signing in, we create the account with the email used at checkout or attach the purchase to the existing account with that email. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland, and Stripe, Inc., USA). Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see them. We receive name, email, country, product, amount and payment status. Legal basis: contract and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
Emails
Purchase confirmations are sent through Resend, Inc. (USA). Legal basis: performance of a contract.
Cookies and local storage
We use no analytics or advertising cookies.
- Clerk cookies (for example __session, __client_uat): keep you signed in.
- plida-theme, plida-result-* and plida-draft-* in your browser’s local storage: theme, last scores and Scrivere drafts.
Transfers outside the EU
Several providers are in the USA, and data may also be processed in the country where the controller is established (see above). Transfers rely on adequacy decisions such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
- Account: for as long as it exists; deleted when you ask.
- Purchase data: as long as tax law requires.
- Messages to support: as long as needed to answer.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can complain to a supervisory authority, in particular where you live. In Brazil the LGPD gives similar rights and you can contact the ANPD.
For any request: support@plidaprep.com.
Changes
We update this policy when our processing changes.
